These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://travancorefintech.com and the Digital Money Transfer (DMT), Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS), and related services (“Services”) provided by Travancore Fintech (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

Eligibility

To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. Merchants must be duly authorized to provide financial services under applicable laws and partner agreements.

Nature of services

Travancore Fintech provides technology and platform services that enable DMT, AEPS, and related financial transactions through partner banks, regulated entities, and authorized networks. We are not a bank and do not hold customer funds.

All financial transactions are processed by partner banks and authorized institutions in accordance with applicable regulations.

User and merchant obligations

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration, KYC, and transaction initiation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities carried out using your account.

Merchants must comply with all applicable laws, RBI/NPCI guidelines, UIDAI norms, and partner bank requirements while using the Services.

KYC and Aadhaar usage

Use of AEPS and DMT services requires completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. Aadhaar-based authentication or offline verification may be used strictly in accordance with applicable laws and UIDAI guidelines.

We do not store biometric data such as fingerprints or iris scans. Aadhaar information is used only for authentication and regulatory compliance.

Transaction responsibility

You are responsible for verifying all transaction details before confirmation. Once initiated, transactions may not be reversible. Travancore Fintech is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect information provided by users or merchants.

Transaction success or failure depends on banking networks, NPCI systems, telecom connectivity, and third-party service availability.

Fees and charges

Service fees, commissions, and charges may apply as communicated from time to time. By using the Services, you agree to applicable fees and deductions.

Prohibited activities

Using the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or prohibited purposes
Providing false or misleading information
Attempting to bypass security or authentication mechanisms
Misuse of Aadhaar or biometric data
Violating RBI, NPCI, UIDAI, or other regulatory guidelines

Suspension and termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services, with or without notice, if we suspect fraud, non-compliance, misuse, or violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

Limitation of liability

Travancore Fintech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the Services, including transaction failures caused by third-party systems.

Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of service fees charged for the specific transaction in dispute.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Travancore Fintech, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Intellectual property

All content, software, trademarks, and intellectual property related to the Services are owned by or licensed to Travancore Fintech. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising under these Terms.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
